Arizona Revised Statutes 28-3166 (b)
“B. An application for a driver license and the driver license issued shall contain the photo image of the applicant or licensee. ….”
It only says photos three times in that one short paragraph.

Also, since you are apparently a lawyer now, perhaps you should read
Arizona Revised Statutes 28-3166 (b)
“B. An application for a driver license and the driver license issued shall contain the photo image of the applicant or licensee. ….”

It’s “does” not “douse”.
You must be the white-trash boyfriend in the car with her.

Grammar in English Proper or not is not Relevent in the case. nor is the Political term “Elitist”.

She needs to learn to spell and use proper grammar. Also, not to sound elitist. But poor people don’t normally win these fights.
She should have simply said nothing.

Yea well the law douse not say any thing about a Picture, there for if that is the reason he arrested her, and I can’t see any other reason he could try and use, then it’s clear to me it’s an illegal Arrest, and even it were’rnt he had no reason other then herasment agendas for pulling her over. .. He never even said why he pulled her over, and she asked him that first off. he was just Angry she knew her rights.

Indeed they may have known who she was and it is a KNOWN FACT that Phoenix PD is known for following, harassing and intimidating folks that they have a bone to pick with. Even more so than Arpaio…
But the issue at question is a valid form of ID must show all the requirements per title 28.
that means: Name, Address, DOB, Height, Weight, Male/Female and a pic.
With out those items it would not be considered valid.
But those cops were acting like jerks, instead of explaining what i did.
December 7th, 2009 at 8:09 am
Yes but what she gave him was a valid drivers liscence acording to arizona state law, no other form of identification was nesisary, also its obvious that they knew who she was.
December 7th, 2009 at 8:09 am
The cop was giving you a way out here too: After his initial “wtf” moment, he asks do you have ANY form of picture ID. It looks like he was going to accept the paper if you gave him something else along with it. A University or Work badge would’ve likely kept you from getting arrested.

B. A person who is licensed under this chapter is entitled to exercise the privilege granted by this chapter on highways and is not required to obtain another license to exercise the privilege by a county, municipal or local board or a body with authority to adopt local police regulations.

Um, yea, it does actually. Let me go find it for ya.
December 7th, 2009 at 8:09 am
still douse not say in the written law that you need a picture so in fact its not the law
December 7th, 2009 at 8:09 am
You do know you just killed your case with this video. Your driver’s license DOES have to have your picture on it, as every state issued license comes with a picture.
Nice try though.
